Inspiration for your Tuscan wedding by Hitched in Italy, Rebel Rebel Italia, and Elizabeth Armitage Photography
Weddings in Tuscany are all about the atmosphere - romantic Italian venues, delicious food, and good wines shared with family and friends. The wedding flowers and wedding table are a reflection of the feeling you want your wedding to have. You carefully select all the elements to come together and produce a feast for the eyes to accompany the meal you will enjoy and remember as your first meal together as a married couple.
As wedding planners, florists, and photographers, we look for the details that give feeling and meaning to your wedding. Sometimes, those elements sit so perfectly in their surroundings they almost blend in, but they have all been carefully chosen to enhance your experience of a place. This is what good wedding professionals create for your wedding.
Wedding Flowers, Wedding Planning, and Wedding Photography in Tuscany
I have wanted to work for some time with Lisa from Hitched in Italy, so when she contacted me to ask if I'd like to collaborate on an inspiration shoot with a wedding florist at a unique wedding venue in Tuscany, I jumped at the chance. When she told me the florist was Rebel Rebel, well I was even more excited. We all came together at I Romiti on what must have been one of the hottest days this summer. Getting to I Romiti feels like you are leaving the world behind, and arriving there, you immediately feel you are in a different time, your own time, which will stand still as long as you like. The place feels full of history, art fills every corner, and you can see it would make the perfect venue for an intimate wedding celebration in Tuscany.
Taking in our beautiful surroundings, Athena and Niki from Rebel Rebel Italia put together several different looks from flowers home-grown in Tuscany or foraged in the Tuscan countryside. Lisa pulled each table setting together beautifully with perfect consideration for the surroundings and the flowers. And as the photographer, I got to capture all the magic created photographing the beautiful results. I hope this photo shoot brings inspiration to anyone thinking of holding a small intimate wedding celebration in Tuscany. Please get in touch with myself, Hitched in Italy, or Rebel Rebel if you would like any advice on planning and creating your wedding in Tuscany.
Sat on a terrace in the dappled sunshine on a late afternoon in Tuscany, what could be more perfect for an wedding. Bright yellow wildflowers of Achillea and fennel stand out on a rustic table and a simple place setting compliments the look. A floral installation created with wild flowers running along the pergola creates an enclosed and defined space, providing an even more intimate setting. If you are after an alternative, rustic wedding look - this is certainly it!
Tall bronze jugs holding delicate cream flowers give the feeling of history and romance within the chapel of I Romiti. This table setting sits perfectly in it's cool surroundings of stone and art. Simple, elegant, and considered; it makes the perfect table setting for an intimate wedding in a historic venue in Tuscany.
A truly Tuscan table runner of old mans beard and wild carrot. This wild and whimsical floral tablescape was set up both inside the chapel and outside on the terrace to show how well it would work in either situation. Inside the chapel tall vases of Queen Anne's Lace add height and interest. Using delicate wild flowers for your wedding gives the feeling of a wild romance; passionate and dreamy.
Soft and romantic wedding flowers with a nod to the iconic role the grapevine plays in the Tuscan countryside. A setting for an intimate wedding celebration inside in the chapel were you could experience the flavours of Tuscany's food, drink, and history making a unique wedding experience.
