Set in rural Devon on a beautiful sunny summer day, this boho festival wedding was so much fun to be the wedding photographer for. The day started with photographing Emma, her bridesmaids, the flower girls and page boy getting ready in Southernhay house in Exeter. I could already tell it was going to be a fun day with a relaxed bohemian style.
Emma and Miles got married in a little church in Salcombe Regis. The church was nestled in this sleepy little Devon village by the coast and made the perfect setting for exchanging their vows.
The wedding reception had such an amazing festival vibe! Emma and Miles planned the perfect wedding festival. The location was a Devon field complete with views over rolling hills (minus mud luckily!). The circus tent provided a wealth of little details that Emma and her friends had been collecting for ages. There were so many quirky little details perfect for making this wedding feel really personal to them. The flowers were colourful and bright and they had asked everyone to bring a cake and even had a village fete-style cake competition!
The first dance was in the proper boho spirit and danced bare footed! As the evening went on, the relaxed and informal feel of this wedding made it perfect for just sitting on a hay bale and enjoying the Devon sunset.
